Lawhorn, who replaced his engine in late August, has not lost since and has wrapped up his second consecutive track championship. Lawhorn is 170 points ahead of Rodney Cundiff with three races remaining on the schedule.
Kenny Wagner finished second Saturday night. Carl Dadian, Harvey Harrison and Jeff Young finished 3-4-5, respectively.
In other races Saturday night:
Steve Lam was the Mini Stock winner, outrunning Chris Martin (second) and Jimmy Cox (third). The victory was Lam's 23rd this season. In the 25-year history of the track, no driver in any class had won as many as 23 races.
Points leader Mike Dudley won the Street Stock division, his first victory since Labor Day weekend. David Smith and David Stout finished second and third, respectively.
Jay Peery won the Pure Stock competition, holding off points leader Red Hartman, who finished second. Newcomer Doug McBride was third.
Travis Sharpe prevailed in the Rookie race. Mike Roberts and James Hunt, who have battled for the points lead most of the year, finished second and third, respectively.
Anthony Bailey won the Truck race, and Frankie Kelly was the Any Car winner.
Whitey Taylor, promoter at FCS, announced all remaining races will start at 7 p.m.
