LIBERTY FALLS 64-54

Guard Hope Cook scored 21 of her 31 points in the second quarter to help rally William Campbell to a 64-54 Seminole District victory over Liberty in girls' high school basketball Monday.

The Minettes, who led by three points at halftime and two at the end of the third quarter, hit a cold shooting spell in the fourth quarter to fall to 8-4. Kelly Whorley scored 19 points and Shannon Jurkus added 10. Sue Colbeck had 18 rebounds and Amy Baxter contributed 10 assists.

The Generals are 10-2.
