IN SERVICE

Navy Lieutenant j.g. SHANNON WOHLFORD, son of Guy and Connie Wohlford of Radford, graduated from flight training at Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Fla. He is designated a naval flight officer and will serve in an F-14 Tomcat fighter as the radar intercept officer. He will report to Miramar Naval Station, San Diego, Calif. He is a 1992 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a degree in ocean engineering.

Navy Seaman Recruit CHRISTOPHER R. GALLIMORE, son of Martha N. Moody of Pulaski and Mike L. Gallimore of Christiansburg, has completed basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

Navy Ensign ADAM C. WENZLIK, formerly of Blacksburg, has completed the Officer Indoctrination School at Naval Education and Training Center, Newport, R.I. The course prepares Wenzlik for duty in the naval staff field corresponding to his civilian profession.

Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class TIMOTHY D. LAWSON, son of Glenn S. and Sandra R. Lawson of Christiansburg, was promoted to his present rank while serving at Navy Recruiting Command, Arlington.

Army Reserve Pfc. LISA K. WILLIAMS, daughter of Melvin L. and Neal V. Williams of Pembroke, has graduated from the unit supply specialist course at Fort Lee, Petersburg.

Navy Seaman Recruit STEPHEN D. UNDERWOOD, son of Ronald G. Underwood of Pilot, has completed basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

Navy Seaman Apprentice TROY H. SUTTON, son of Bonie Sutton of Narrows, has returned from operations off the coast of Haiti aboard the tank landing ship USS Spartanburg County. While in the Caribbean, Sutton helped support the United Nations sanctions against Haiti as part of an international task\ force.
