The Blues (10-2, 4-2) led 19-10 at halftime and held the Rockets to only two first-quarter points and one field goal in the first half, but Craig County (4-8, 3-3) rallied behind Chrissy Robertson, who scored 14 of her game-high 24 points in the fourth quarter.
Parry McCluer led 40-35 before Robertson hit a 3-pointer to cut the lead to two. Stinnett then hit her two free throws with 10 seconds left to give the Blues a 42-38 lead. Robertson hit another 3-pointer as time ran out to provide the final margin.
The Fighting Blues were led by Crystal Humphries, who scored 13 points. Misty Snider and Lindsey Coleman each added 10 for Parry McCluer.

FAIRFIELD - Shellie Johnson scored eight of her game-high 12 points in the first quarter as the Spartans jumped out to a 19-6 first-quarter lead and never were challenged in the Blue Ridge District victory.
Salem used a zone press to jump out to a 20-point halftime lead. Marilyn Huang added 10 for the Spartans.
Salem took advantage of a huge edge at the free-throw line - the Spartans made 27 of 37 free throws while Rockbridge County (0-12, 0-3) made 9 of 18.
Lord Botetourt 59

Sarah Hicks came back to haunt her former team, scoring nine of her 18 points in the second quarter to lead the Cavaliers past the Vikings in the Blue Ridge District.
Hicks, who played for Northside last season as a freshman, made several steals that translated into easy baskets for Lord Botetourt (8-3, 1-2).
Rosse Hopkins scored eight points and Tanya Holmes had seven to lead the Vikings (3-8, 0-3).

Alleghany 55
LOW MOOR - The Terriers outscored Alleghany 24-14 in the third quarter and went on to defeat the Mountaineers in a Blue Ridge District game.
Cathy Smith scored 14 of her game-high 16 points in the second half and Kristi Dyer added 10 of her 14 in the second half to help William Byrd (11-2, 3-0).
Tasha Chapman scored 15 for the Mountaineers (7-6, 2-1), who played most of the game without senior co-captain Amanda Stover. Stover collided with Smith early in the game and needed five stitches for a cut on her eyebrow.
Valerie Broughman added 12 for Alleghany.
