CRIME PREVENTION MONTH IN RADFORD

Mayor Tom Starnes has signed a resolution to proclaim October as Crime Prevention Month. City Council approved the resolution at its Oct. 10 meeting.

The resolution calls upon everyone in Radford to "increase their participation in our community's crime prevention efforts."

The resolution states that crime prevention "is everyone's business and depends on active cooperation among all elements of the community."
