AUBURN PULLS PAST JAMES RIVER

Auburn took control in the second quarter and rolled to a 56-38 non-district victory over James River on Wednesday night.

The Eagles (7-5) broke open a tight game by outscoring the Knights 16-6 in the second quarter. Lori Lyons led Auburn with 15 points and Michelle Collins added 12.

James River (3-11) got a game-high 21 points from Angie Johnson. Heather Vines added 10 points for the Knights.
