$12,000-$15,000 IN JEWELRY STOLEN IN PULASKI|

Town police are continuing to investigate a Wednesday night burglary of a Memorial Square jewelry store.

Police responded to an alarm at Lemons' Jewelry Inc. on Memorial Drive shortly after 11 p.m. They found a door had been pried open to gain entry. Several of the jewelry cases had been opened and rings and necklaces valued at $12,000 to $15,000 were taken, police said.

A witness heard the alarm and saw a vehicle speeding through the shopping center parking lot with no lights on. The car turned onto Virginia 11.

Police say they have a suspect but no arrests have been made.
