DECK COLLAPSES, KILLING DUBLIN MAN

A 25-year-old Dublin man was killed Tuesday when part of a deck fell and struck him in the head.

Gary R. Blevins was helping his family move a deck at 123 Cowan St. in Radford when a section of it collapsed. Radford police said the deck struck the right side of Blevins' head about 9:20 Tuesday night.

He was taken to Radford Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
