CAVE SPRING SWEEPS RVD CROSS COUNTRY

Cave Spring successfully defended its boys' and girls' team titles, and Franklin County's David Angell repeated as the boys' individual champion during Thursday's Roanoke Valley District cross country meet in Rocky Mount.

Four Knights placed in the top 10 as the boys scored 35 points, followed by Franklin County (57), Patrick Henry (81), William Fleming (91) and Pulaski County (93).
