GILES OVERPOWERS BEARS

Giles High School may have had a little more football firepower than Bland County, but it didn't have any more resolve.

The state's top-ranked Group A team got 283 yards total offense and three touchdowns out of tailback Raypheal Milton to turn back the Bears 32-11 in front of what is believed to be the largest assembly of humanity in Bland County history Friday.
