Northside head coach Jim Hickam was concerned with how his team would perform on the field on the night of its homecoming. With the running game he has, there was no need to worry.

Halfbacks Adrius Henderson and Karim Thompson combined for 258 yards and three touchdowns as the Vikings rolled to a 34-6 win over Lord Botetourt in a Blue Ridge District contest on Friday.
