FRANKLIN COUNTY CRASH KILLS MARTINSVILLE MAN

A Martinsville man died Friday night of injuries he received in a crash in Franklin County earlier in the day.

State police said John Randolph Jamison was alone in his pickup when he ran off the left side of Virginia 632 near Chestnut Mountain and struck a tree around 6 p.m.

Jamison was taken to Roanoke Memorial Hospital, where he died at 8:56 p.m.
