CATHOLIC KEEPS ROLLING

In a season of many rights, about the only thing that went wrong Saturday for Roanoke Catholic's football team was an injury to running back P.J. Moyer.

But Moyer already had done plenty of damage before suffering a slight concussion in the third quarter. The sophomore rushed for four touchdowns and surpassed the 1,000-yard mark for the season as the Celtics rolled to a 41-6 victory over Randolph-Macon Academy at Victory Stadium.

Roanoke Catholic, ranked No.1 in the latest Division I state private school poll, improved its record to 8-0 overall and is 3-0 in the Virginia Independent Conference.
