The Cougars (2-5 overall, 1-1 in the district) took control in the fourth quarter. Quarterback Mike Barber returned a punt 78 yards in the period and the extra point gave Covington its first lead of the game, 21-14. William Stewart then scored from 7 yards late in the quarter to ice the game for the Cougars.
Craig County (3-4, 1-3) took an early 8-0 lead on an 18-yard run by quarterback Robby Huffman. The Rockets then led 14-6 on a 78-yard kickoff return by Chris Blankenship.
Luckett rushed for 102 yards in the second half as Covington ran for 233 yards overall.

GLADE SPRING - Temple Musser rushed for 268 yards and Kenny Lethco ran for 132 yards and two touchdowns in the Indians' Hogoheegee District victory over the Rebels.
Ronnie Six scored on runs of 4 and 2 yards for Rural Retreat.
PH-Glade Spring was led by Eric Reynolds, who completed six of 16 passes for 183 yards and a touchdown and ran for two scores.
