"It's a godsend," said J. Patrick Budd of this month's action by Congress that lifts some of the paperwork burdens of hiring a baby sitter or household help.

The so-called 'nanny tax' has been driving his clients 'crazy,' said Budd, a certified public accountant with Budd, Ammen & Co., of Roanoke.
