WOMAN STABBED DURING ARGUMENT

A Roanoke woman was stabbed four times during a weekend argument with another woman, city police said Monday.

Lashanda U. Miller, 20, of the 700 block of Hunt Avenue Northwest, was treated at Community Hospital for knife wounds to her head, upper back and left arm.

Miller told police she was visiting an apartment near her home when she got into an argument with a 19-year-old woman who lived there. The 19-year-old fled the scene after stabbing Miller, police said. There have been no arrests.

In other police reports over the weekend:

A pregnant woman told police that her ex-boyfriend kicked her in the stomach and struck her in the eye during an attack early Saturday. The woman was treated at Community Hospital.

Two teen-age boys, 15 and 16 years old, were attacked by a group of about 10 young men as they waited for a call at a telephone booth outside a Williamson Road business Saturday night. Both youths were knocked to the ground and beaten, and one had a tooth knocked out during the attack.
