RU STUDENT CHARGED IN BREAK-IN

Police have charged a Radford University student with the Oct. 13 break-in at a Tyler Avenue music shop.

Richard D. Anderson, 18, of Muse Hall, was charged with breaking and entering and grand larceny of compact discs from Music & More, said Lt. Gary Harmon. Both are felony charges. Grand larceny charges are issued when a theft involves $200 or more.

Some of the CDs have been recovered, Harmon said.

Anderson was released on $2,500 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Radford General District Court on Nov. 21.
