YES TO LIFE PROGRAMS IN GILES

Lauren Stalnecker, recording artist, producer, composer and writer, brings his Yes to Life program to Giles County for two performances.

He will perform at Giles High School today and at Narrows High School on Thursday. Both performances start 9 a.m.

Stalnecker, who is featured in Food Lion television commercials, will take his motivational message to school students in over 60 cities across America this year. His goal is to motivate kids to develop a positive self-image, a hopeful outlook and the desire to do the right thing, stop violence and avoid substance abuse.

The shows are co-sponsored by the Giles County 4-H team leader club and the Giles County Public School system.
