Crestar Mortgage Corp. will move its Roanoke-area office Friday from Bernard Drive to the former Arthur Murray building at 4005 Electric Road.
The company said the move will provide more visibility and easier access for customers. It will also give the company more space.
Crestar Mortgage will be closed Friday for the move and will reopen Monday in its new location.
Denny Early is vice president and manager of the the company's western region.
Crestar Mortgage is the largest Virginia-based residential mortgage originator and is a subsidiary of Crestar Financial Corp., the bank holding company.

The Southwest Virginia Blue Ridge Regional Small Business Conference will be held Thursday. The conference, sponsored by the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce and Bell Atlantic Corp., starts at 7 a.m. at Roanoke Airport Marriott hotel. It will include breakfast comments by Rep. L.F. Payne, D-Nelson County, and a luncheon speach by Sen. John Warner, R-Va. Lynn Brae Associates of Roanoke registered the second largest number of Angus beef cattle of any Virginia breeder during the 1994 fiscal year, according to the American Angus Association. Lynn Brae registered 333 head with the St. Joseph, Mo.-based organization. Nationwide, breeders registered 214,261 head of cattle, about 20,000 more than a year earlier.
Lemon's Jewelry Inc., a Waynesboro-based retailer with stores in Virginia and North Carolina, has opened its 16th store, at Old Country Plaza in Roanoke County. Tina Spangler is manager of the new shop.
