Because of a reporter's error, a story about Catherine Edwards in the New River Current's Seniors column Wednesday contained some incorrect information. The first trip Edwards arranged in 1984 for the Blacksburg Retired Citizens was to Smithfield, Va. She organized the first public kindergarten in Isle of Wight County in 1972.
