BARNETTE, Anne Cash, 91, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, October 25, 1994. She was the widow of Captain Frank R. Barnette RFD and a member of Waverly Place Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her brothers, Edmund H. Cash, John R. Cash and Hugh M. Cash. Surviving are her children, Mr./Mrs. William R. Barnette (Sue), Salem, Mr./Mrs. Francis P. Miller (Ruth), Roanoke, Mr./Mrs. Frank B. Barnette, Jr. (Jerry), Ormond Beach, Fla., Mr./Mrs. Marvin L. Barnette (Sandra), Crimora, Va.; also seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Mrs. E.H. (Elsie) Cash, Roanoke, Mrs. J.R. (Aussie) Cash, Buena Vista. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 29,1994, with the Rev. Charles Hoffler officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.

BARRETT, Viola W. 95, Eagle Rock, died at the home of her daughter, Martha James Zell, on Wednesday, October 26, 1994. She is also survived by one son, Bobby J. Barrett, Keysville, Md; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends, Friday evening, 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be, Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Eagle Rock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Frampton, officiating. BRYANT, Louise Thomlinson, (``Tootsie""), 74, of Buena Vista, died Wednesday, October 26, 1994, at Stonewall Jackson Extended Care Facility. She was born in Alleghany County June 21, 1920. Daughter of the late Earl D. Bryant and Annie Fitzgerald Bryant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Bryant and a son, Kenneth Wayne Bryant. She was retired from Stonewall Jackson Hospital where she worked as the O.B. Nurse for 23 years. She was a member of the First Brethren Church in Buena Vista. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, David Bryant and Paulene Allen Bryant, Buena Vista; one granddaughter, Sandra Michelle Bryant, Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 1994, at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Tom Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Service. CALLAHAN, Clarice E., 71, of Gretna, died Thursday, Ocotber 27, 1994. Funeral 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Colbert-Moran Chapel, Gretna.

CHRISTLEY, Janey Thora, 87, of Salem, died Tuesday, October 25, 1994, at Richfield Nursing Center in Salem. A resident of Salem for 52 years, Mrs. Christley was born in Pima, Ariz. She was a housewife, mother and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she was a member of the Choir and the Organist for many years. Her husband, Milan H. Christley, who she married in 1934, died in July 1994. Survivors include her three children, Milan R. Christley of American Fork, Utah, Marietta C. Larson of Fairfax, and Gilford E. Christley of St. Louis, Mo.; 15 grandchildren. Funeral services will follow on Saturday, October 29, at 2 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Stake Center at 6311 Wayburn Dr., Salem, with Bishop Tim Layton officiating. DAVIS, Trinkle W. Sr., 78, of Chattanooga, Tenn., and formerly of Pulaski, died Wednesday evening, October 26, 1994, in a local hospital. A native of Bland, VA, he has been a resident of the Chattanooga area for the past 30 years and was the former owner of T.W. Davis Agency. He was also a member of the First Centenary United Methodist Church, the Pythagoras Masonic Lodge #239 F&AM in Pulaski, VA and had served as Secretary for many years with Kiwanis Club of Pulaski, VA. He was also preceded in death by a brother, James W. Davis and was the son of the late, Richard Floyd and Vernie Brunk Davis. Survivors include his wife, Vivian C. Davis; son, T. Whitten Davis Jr., both of Chattanooga; brother, Rev. Floyd C. Davis, Spring City, Tenn .; grandson, John C. Davis, Chattanooga. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 30, 1994, in the Davis Chapel United Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Hidden Valley Cemetery. A Masonic graveside service will be conducted by the Pythagoras Masonic Lodge #239 F&AM. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Thomas M. GOLDSMITH, Jean Stackpole, 62, of Blacksburg, died Tuesday, October 25, 1994, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital after a long illness with cancer. She was employed at Virginia Tech for 19 years, and was also a member of the Blacksburg Church of Christ. Mrs. Goldsmith is survived by her husband, Charles David Goldsmith; a daughter and son-in-law, Pamela Renee' G. and Kenneth Kovacs, Roanoke; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Ken Norris, Nutter Fort, W.Va.; brother and sister-in-law, William P. and Loretta Stackpole, Chambersburg, Pa.; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Peggy and David Allman, Bridgeport, W.VA.; two brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Jack Goldsmith, Menasha, WI, James and JoAnn Goldsmith, Parkersburg, W.Va. LINKOUS, Terry Lee, 41, of Blacksburg, died Thursday, October 27, 1994, at his home after a long illness with cancer. He was born May 9, 1953 in Christiansburg, to the late Stedson A. Sr. and Gladys Cruise Linkous. He is survived by his wife, Mary A. Linkous; two stepsons, Jason and C. J. Arrington, both of Vinton; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Brenda Faye Linkous, Blacksburg, Linda L. and Bruce R. Jones, Riner, Dreama C. and Ronald Rhodes, Roanoke; a brother and sister-in-law, Stedson A. Jr. and Sheila C. Linkous, Poolesville, Md.; two nephews, Stedson A. Linkous III and Michael Cox, both of Roanoke; two nieces, Heather Cox, Roanoke, Tasha Denise Jones, Riner; a special friend, Basil T. Cox, Roanoke. PULLANO, William Phil, 75, of Spring Hill, Fla., died Tuesday, October 25, 1994. Formerly of Roanoke, he was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church. Mr. Pullano was a past Grand Knight of The Knights of Columbus, Council #562. He was also a member of the American Legend Post #3, Roanoke and a member of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church in Spring Hill, Fla. He retired from the Fred Whitaker Company and was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Phyllis Kay Pullano; wife, Kathryn R. Pullano; and a sister, Mary P. Crull, Calumet City, Ill. Surviving are his wife, Edie Pullano; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Sue and David R. Socky, Roanoke, Terri and Tom Scudieri, Escondido, Calif.; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Penny Barbieri, Detroit, Mich.; sisters, Mollie Stone, Harper Woods, Mich., Rosa Barbieri, Utica, Mich., Grace Morello, Harper Woods, Mich., Angelina Firetta, Madison Heights, Mich., Hazel Stuckey, Stuckey, S.C., Virginia Parrish, Hilton Head Island, S.C.; three grandchildren, Nicholas Stephen Socky, Chantel Barbieri-Gyure and Charla Barbieri-Heimer. ROSE, Martha Caroline, 40, of Shawsville, died Tuesday, October 25, 1994, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday, October 28 from the Richardson-Horne Chapel with burial in Grandview Memory Gardens, Bluefield, Va. Arrangements by Richardson-Horne in Christiansburg.

SAUNDERS, Anne Eloise, 73, of Richmond, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 1994. Formerly of Roanoke, Mrs. Saunders was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Richmond. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia S. and Earl A. Pinkard, Richmond; son and daughter-in-law, Barry N. and Bettyann Saunders, U.S. Air Force; grandchildren, Sherri Saunders, Richmond, Julie Pinkard, Centreville, David and Tyler Saunders, New York. A graveside service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday in Fair View Cemetery by the Rev. Dennis E. Tucker. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Oakey's North Chapel.

THOMAS, Leonard L. 89, of Boones Mill, died Wednesday, October 26, 1994, at his home. He was retired from the Norfolk & Western Railway Shops, he was also a retired owner of a local Apple Orchard. Mr. Thomas was a member, Deacon and Trustee at Fairmont Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Aubrey Williamson Thomas. Surviving are one step daughter, Delma Rhea Howell, Roanoke; two sisters, Ida Webster, Roanoke and Myrtle Jamison, Calloway; one brother, Dillard Thomas, S.C.; also surviving a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, step- grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel, 2 p.m., Saturday, with the Rev. Robert Snyder and the Rev. Bruce Robinson officiating, interment will follow in Fairmont Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may call 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, at Oakey's South Chapel.
