County Executive James Mullen said the Board of Supervisors has approved a resolution asking the entertainment giant to fork over $489,000 in zoning, legal and planning costs spent in anticipation of the construction of a theme park near Haymarket.
Mullen said Disney's Sept. 28 abandonment of the site violated the pledge of a ``partnership'' between the county and Disney executives. The resolution says, ``Disney bears a moral responsibility to reimburse the county.''
