BRINKLEY, Watson Graham, (Tim), 84, of Roanoke, died Saturday, October 29, 1994, at his home. Mr. Brinkley was retired from the Norfolk & Western Railway, was past president of the Blue Ridge Chapter of the National Chrysanthemum Society, and for many years, was the choir director of St. Andrews Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Seifert Brinkley, and a son, William Gregory Brinkley. Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Rosemary Brinkley Hambrick and Robert William Hambrick, Suzanne P. Brinkley; two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas M. and Rula B. Brinkley, David A. and Cheryl M. Brinkley; five grandchildren, Stephen G. Hambrick, Kimberleigh Hambrick Lam, Melissa B. Bradley, Sa rah E. Brinkley, and Gwyneth E. DAVIS, Katherine Lister, 85, of Roanoke, died Monday, October 31, 1994 at Raleigh Court Health Care. She was preceded in death by her son, William Parrish MacConnell, and brother, Winiford Lister. She was born in Elizabeth City, N.C., the daughter of Oscar and Mary Armstrong Lister. She lived in Norfolk until 1989. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Katherine and Don Reid, Salem; grandson, Donald Curtis Reid Jr. and wife, Valerie; granddaughter, Dawn Reid White and husband, Alan; granddaughter, Dena Caroline Reid; grandsons, William MacConnell, Robert MacConnell; and granddaughter, Kathy MacConnell; a sister, Elizabeth Thomas, Norfolk. DUNMAN, Ella Orange, 91, of Salem, died Monday, October 31, 1994, at her home. She was a member of the Faith Fellowship Church in Salem for 48 years. GARBER, Patricia N. Mullinix, 54, of Emmitsburg, Md., died Saturday, October 29, 1994, at the Gettysburg Hospital, Gettysburg, Penn. She was the wife of Leland F. Garber. Born February 19, 1940 in Frederick, Md., she was a da ughter of M. Louise (Roberts) Hipkins, Frederick, Md., and the late Narvil F. Mullinix. Mrs. Garber was a member of the Green Hill Church of the Brethren, Salem, Va. She took pride in her family and home, nurtured a special relationship with her grandchildren and in her spare time, enjoyed crafts and collectibles. Surviving, besides her husband and mother, are two sons, Dwayne Mills and his wife, Teresa, Gettysburg, Penn., Thomas Lowell Mills and his friend, Debbie Kerns, Frederick, Md.; one daughter, Karen Flohr and her husband, Kenneth, Thurmont, Md.; step-father, John Hipkins; grandchildren, Jesse, Megan, and Courtney Mills, Lauren Flohr, Christopher and Brittaney Garber; a brother, Narvil (Chip) Mullinix, Thurmont, Md.; two step-sons, Gregory Lee Garber and Derek Dwayne Garber, both of Roanoke, Va. Mrs. Garber was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer Mullinix. GOODWIN, Garland William, 58, of New Church, husband of the late Shirley Goodwin, passed away Sunday, October 30, 1994. He was born in Roanoke, Va. and was the son of Charles and Frances Thomas Goodwin. Mr. Goodwin was a Protestant and worked at the Baltimore Air Coil Company. He is survived by three children, Christine Joanne LaPole and Jessie Raymond Goodwin, both of New Church, Garland ``Eddie"" Goodwin Jr., Richmond; a sister, Caroline Evans, Norfolk; two brothers, Howard Goodwin, Gulf Shores, Ala., Oscar Goodwin, Roanoke; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was a retired Magistrate for the 27th Judicial District, a member of the Christiansburg Hunt Club, and honorary member of the Christiansburg Rescue Squad. He was preceded in death by his father, P. L. Griffith Sr.; and a brother L. L. ``Red"" Griffith. He is survived by his wife, Joyce A. Griffith; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey A. and Dawn H.
