CONSERVATION FORUM TODAY IN WYTHEVILLE

The U.S. Soil Conservation Service has scheduled a forum in Wytheville today to discuss plans for its reorganization.

The 60-year-old agency says it is attempting to reinvent itself to create the natural resources conservation agency of the future and is aking the public to help.

The forum is open to anyone with an interest in natural resources conservation. The meeting will be held from 1-3 p.m. at the Holiday Inn just off Interstate 81 at Wytheville.
