RESERVISTS CHANGE TRAINING BASES

The training base for a U.S. Army Reserve division with units in Western Virginia has changed effective this month.

When placed on wartime status, the 80th Reserve Division, which has units based in Salem, Dublin, Abingdon and Covington, will report to the U.S. Army Training Center at Fort Jackson, S.C. The unit had been assigned for training at Fort Bragg, N.C.

The division, composed of 4,000 reservists, has its headquarters in Richmond.
