REPORTED EARNINGS

Vishay Intertechnology Inc., Malvern, Pa., parent of Vitramon Inc. of Roanoke, reported third-quarter net earnings of $14.6 million, or 61 cents per share, on sales of $261 million, compared with year-earlier $10.7 million, or 48 cents, on sales of $200.2 million. For the nine months, net earnings were $41.4 million, or $1.82 a share, on sales of $713.7 million, compared with $35.2 million, or $1.58 per share, on $652.4 million.
