CABOOSE BURNS IN PLAYGROUND

An old train caboose in a children's playground was destroyed by fire early Sunday.

Firefighters from the Blacksburg Fire Department responded about 4 a.m. to the blaze in Turner Street Park. No injuries were reported.

Police and fire officials said they suspected arson and were investigating.
