Q: Why do people who are 7 feet tall look as though they are 8 feet tall?

A: We recall the time we spent a few hours following around Wilt Chamberlain, whose hips seemed to be at shoulder height. He was startlingly large. He also didn't like people making a big deal about his height - he defintely wasn't someone to whom you would inquire about how the weather was up there.
