TRAFFIC REROUTED AT DOWNTOWN EXIT

Traffic taking the downtown exit off Interstate 581 to Commonwealth Avenue today between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. will be rerouted.

Drivers still may use the downtown exit (Exit 5) but will not be able to bear right onto Commonwealth because of utility work related to the widening of Wells Avenue.

Because of a copy editor's error, a story in Wednesday's editions incorrectly reported that a section of Wells Avenue between Commonwealth and Williamson Road would be closed to all traffic. Cars will be allowed to drive on that section, and access to Howard's Car Care will be provided.
