CHRISTIANSBURG - The last day the Montgomery County Christmas Store can accept donations of used goods is Dec. 3. Donations may be made at the store, 1655 Roanoke Street, Monday through Saturday, and at Northside Presbyterian Church, Progress and Watson streets, Saturdays, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

The Christmas Store still needs tax-deductible cash donations. Send money to: Montgomery County Christmas Store, P.O. Box 221, Blacksburg, Va., 24063.

The Christmas Store also needs volunteers to help during shopping days, Dec. 8-10. Especially needed are hosts during the day and Saturday evening. Nursery volunteers are needed for all shifts. Call Debbie Stanley 951-4336.

Groups to provide entertainment for the nursery, such puppet shows, magic shows, juggling or storytelling, and for the shoppers also are wanted. Call the store at 381-0585, or Mary at 382-0363.
