SEARCHING FOR MASTER GARDNERS

It's that time of year again when Extension offices in urban and suburban areas of the region need people with an interest and knowledge of plants to become Master Gardeners.

Master Gardening is actually a nationwide and even international program. In Virginia, to earn the Master Gardener title, applicants receive at least 48 hours of training from the local Extension Office on all aspects of horticulture.
