Virginia Tech's fifth-seeded volleyball team fell to top-seeded Louisville 15-4, 15-7, 15-11 Saturday at the Metro Conference Volleyball Tournament in Tampa, Fla. The Cardinals (28-4) will face the South Florida-Tulane winner in their attempt for a fifth straight championship and an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.

Louisville got 16 kills from Tina Naehr. The Hokies (12-20) got 10 kills and 10 digs from Jennifer Schmidt. Freshman Terrie Zubera added nine kills and 13 digs.
