TURKEY HUNTERS ENJOY SUCCESS

Brian Wright is one hunter who hasn't let the fascination for muzzleloading deer hunting overtake his interest in turkeys.

"We strictly turkey-hunt," he said.

Wright, who lives in Vinton, has killed two young toms, and his uncle, Richard Wright of Botetourt County, has taken one turkey.

"We have seen a lot of turkeys," said Wright.
