ADKINS, John Durant, 83, of Radford, died Monday, November 21, 1994 at his residence. Born July 24, 1911, he was the son of the late Lee Dallas Adkins and Nannie Parks Adkins. He was the former Manager of Merit Shoe Store in Radford. He was a member of the Radford Host Lions Club, and a member of Grove United Methodist Church. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Wayne Lee and Emogene Adkins of Pulaski; two sisters, Gladys Adkins Taylor of Goldsboro, N. C. and Nina Lee Adkins Chestnut of Edenton, N.C.; also survived by a granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Adkins of Radford. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 23, 1994 at 2 pm. from the Grove United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Clarence Dishman officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The body will be t aken to Grove United Methodist Church on Tuesday at 4 p.m., where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, an expression of sympathy may be made in the form of a donation to the Grove United Methodist Church in Radford. BAILLIE, Geraldine (``Petie'') Lockhart, 65, of Covington, died Saturday, November 19, 1994. Born on March 15, 1929, she was the daughter of the late E.H. and Salina G. Lockhart of Covington. She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Gene Lockhart; two other brothers, Norris Lockhart and Omar Lockhart; and two sisters, Edna Null and Dolly Pentz. She is survived by her husband, Robert H. Baillie; her sisters, Lucy Lockhart, Gladys Austin, and Mary Andrews and her husband; her brother Leon Lockhart and his wife; three other sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews, including Linda Largen of Midlothian. Mrs. Baillie was a graduate of Madison College in Harrisonburg and taught for 38 years in Virginia and Maryland public schools. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, 1994, at the Brandermill Church, 4500 Millridge Parkway. A graveside service will be held at Fletcher Chapel, Route 1, Covington, on November 23, 1994, at 3 p.m. Loving Funeral Home will be in charge of services in Covington. DICKERSON, Granville Lacy, 79, of Salem, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 1994. He was retired from the Veterans' Administration Hospital Food Service Department. FRAZIER, Sue Zirkle, 47, of Hollins, died Monday, November 21, 1994. She was born in Macon, Ga. on September 6, 1947. She was the daughter of Mildred S. Zirkle and the late Ben F. Zirkle. Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, Dr. Allie Frazier of Hollins; her brother, Ben F. Zirkle III; and a nephew, Jonathan Zirkle, both of Salem. She had served as a teacher at E. C. Glass, Northside and Wm. Byrd High Schools. The family will receive friends at Oakey's North Chapel from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday. KISER, Larry D., 47, of Salem, passed away Monday, November 21, 1994. He was a 1969 graduate of Virginia Tech, a member of the Blue Ridge Region-Sports Car Club of America and was formerly employed at ITT-EOPD. LESLIE, Nellie Hayes, 63, of Roanoke, died Monday, November 21, 1994. She was a retired shipping clerk for Southern States Warehouse at Cloverdale. She was the widow of Henry Leslie and is survived by seven children, Michael Gorig, Charles Gorig, Gary Leslie, all of Roanoke, Cheryl Robertson, Burnt Chimney, Sherie Leslie, Roanoke; Robin Eanes, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Leslie Rose, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four stepchildren; ten stepgrandchildren; two brothers, Jerry Hayes, Franklin County, Carl Hayes, Roanoke. LOVELL, Mary Mosby, 84, of Riner, died Monday morning, November 21, 1994 in Radford Community Hospital. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Stanford, Stanton, Delaware; and three sisters, Elsie Sowers, Christiansburg, Nellie Kelly, Harrisburg, PA., Hazel Epperly, Shawsville; three grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; her companion, Irvin Cole of Pilot. MACKLIN, Theodore, W., 92, renowned in the music activities of Roanoke and vacinity, passed away on Friday, November 18, 1994. McCAMPBELL, Betty Jane, 69, of Blacksburg, died Monday, November 21, 1994, at her home. Mrs. McCampbell was a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, born on August 9, 1925. She graduated from Christ Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1947. Her husband, Leo Clayton McCampbell, M.D. preceded her in death. PEERY, Louise McFarlane, 83, of Glade Spring, died Saturday, November 19, 1994, at the Johnston Memorial Hospital. She was born in Rosedale, Va., and had lived most of her life in Glade Spring. She was a member of the Byars-Cobbs United Methodist Church, and was a 1933 graduate of the Emory and Henry College. She was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Peery. She is survived by one son, John Richard Peery, Glade Spring; two daughters, Mary Louise Peery, Washington, D.C., Mrs. Elliott (Kristen) Vesell, Hershey, Pa.; two granddaughters, Liane and Hilary Vesell. PUCKETT, Thomas William Jr., (``Tommy""), 34, of Bedford, died Saturday, November 19, 1994. He was born in Bedford on October 2, 1960, a son of Helen Doris Wright Puckett of Bedford, and the late Thomas William Puckett Sr. He was an employee of the Virginia Department of Transportation and was a member of Timber Ridge Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mary Early Puckett; his sister and brother-in-law, Becky P. and Lewis E. Wooldrige; a niece, Jill A. Wooldrige; a nephew, Kevin L. STINSON, Myrtle King, of Roanoke, died Monday, November 21, 1994. She was a retired sales clerk from the Leggett Company. She was the widow of Henry A. THOMAS, Eugene Hugo, Jr., of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, formerly of Roanoke, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 1994, in Milwaukee.
