CBS ANALYST TO BE IN ROANOKE

The Roanoke Valley Sports Club is taking advance reservations through today for Monday's dinner meeting at the Roanoke Civic Center. CBS Sports basketball analyst Billy Packer will be the guest speaker at the 6:15 p.m. dinner, with a 5:45 social. Members may make advance reservations at $10 ($15 at the door). Top-seeded K.J. Hippensteel of Roanoke won two matches at the National Indoors boys 14 competition at Chicago. He defeated James Malhane of Douglaston, N.Y., 6-1, 6-2, and Andrew Bu of Reston, Va., 2-6, 6-3, 6-3.
