TAKE NOTE

Each year the American Lung Association of Virginia recognizes businesses throughout the Commonwealth who voluntarily help protect the health of their employees, customers and the public with policies to govern the use of tobacco in their workplace.

Two awards are offered - the Gold Award is awarded to businesses who eliminated smoking from its workplace and the Silver Award goes to businesses who restrict smoking.

To qualify, businesses should submit a copy of their policy or a statement of policy on letterhead to the American Lung Association, 6318 Peters Creek Road, Suite A-7, Roanoke, Va. 24019.
