DUBLIN - New River Community College will sponsor a free teleconference on "Universities and Small Businesses: New Financing for Technology Research Collaboration" from 1 to 5 p.m. Dec. 12 in the boardroom of Godbey Hall, Dublin campus.
Participants will learn how to improve research collaboration between higher education managers and technology entrepreneurs.
The program features a panel discussion between distinguished technology company and university representatives.

Blacksburg Chamber adds board members
BLACKSBURG - The Nominating Committee for the Greater Blacksburg Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors has named Morris Stowers of Morris Stowers and Associates and Beth McDilda of CableRep Advertising to join the board for a term from March 1995 to February 1998.
Only two new members will be added because of a new board limit of 15 members.
