The Discover Card Stars on Ice tour will perform Dec. 30, 7:30 p.m., in the Roanoke Civic Center Coliseum. The cast includes Olympic and World champions Kristi Yamaguchi, Scott Hamilton, Paul Wylie and Katarina Witt. Two-time gold medalists in pairs figure skating, Ekaterina Gordeeva and Sergei Grinkov, are also members of the show.

The International Museum of Cartoon Art is seeking $10 million to complete its building. Mort Walker, creator of ``Beetle Bailey'' and ``Hi & Lois,'' has been instrumental in the establishment of the museum in Boca Raton, Fla.
