CARLISLE WORKS OT FOR VICTORY

Rod Mitchell scored 11 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter and four more in overtime as Carlisle came from behind to defeat West Chester Academy 67-60 on Tuesday night in non-conference boys' basketball.

Joseph McClenton got the Chiefs (1-0) off to a good start when he scored 12 of his 20 points in the first quarter.

However, West Chester's defense got on track in the second quarter and held Carlisle to eight points.
