RECYCLE THAT TREE

Roanoke City and Roanoke County will collect Christmas trees for recycling into mulch on regular trash collection days during mid-January 1995.

Roanoke workers will pick up trees left at curbs on trash days from Jan. 9-13 and Jan. 23-27. Trees should be curbside no later than 7 a.m. on collection days.

All decorations should be removed from trees, including tinsel.

Free mulch will be left at the Roanoke City Public Works lot on the corner of Courtland Avenue and Carver Road (behind the Civic Center Pizza Hut).
