Mattie Mae Carper, 95, of Pulaski, lived on the Haven B. Howe farm - now part of Claytor Lake State Park - as a child with her father, E.S. Hale, who managed the farm. Because of a incorrect information received by the newspaper, a story Nov. 25 gave a wrong age and farm affiliation for her.
