AUTHOR TO SPEAK

Noted children's book author Shelley Gill will be the guest speaker at the Beeks Elementary School Parent Teacher Association's general meeting Monday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m.

Gill, a former newspaper reporter, is the author of seven children's books including "Kiana's Iditarod," "Alaska's Three Bears," "Mammoth Magic" and "North County Christmas."

Autographed copies of Gill's books will be on sale at the meeting.
