GIBBS TURNS DOWN PANTHERS

Former Washington Redskins coach Joe Gibbs has again said no to coaching the Carolina Panthers, repeating the response he gave the expansion team last spring.

With coaching vacancies possible by the end of the NFL season, Carolina's wish list includes current NFL coaches and two college coaches - Miami's Dennis Erickson and Florida's Steve Spurrier, the Charlotte Observer has reported.
