Anders-Caldwell

Donna Kay Anders and Stephen Parker Caldwell are engaged and plan to be married in February 1995 in Roanoke, Va.

She is the daughter of Mrs. Betty W. Anders and the late Franklin W. Anders of Christiansburg, Va., and is a graduate of Christiansburg High School and Radford University. She is a certified public accountant employed by Norfolk Southern Corporation.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Caldwell of Salem, Va. He graduated from Salem High School and attended Roanoke College and is a Vice President with Caldwell Enterprises.

Anderson-Romano

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Anderson of Lynchburg, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Christine Hunter Anderson, to Paul Vincent Romano, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank A. Romano of Roanoke. No date has been set.

Clark-Bennett

Terri Gayle Clark and Troy Thomas Bennett are engaged and planning to be married December 30, 1994 in Christiansburg. Terri is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James C. Clark. She was graduated from Christiansburg High School and will graduate in May from Western Carolina University. She will be employed by John Randolph Medical Center in Hopewell. Troy is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Bennett of Chester, Va. He was graduated from Thomas Dale High School, Chesterfield and from New River Community College. He is employed by Allied Signal Corp. in Hopewell.

Lam-Ward

Kelly Suzanne Lam and Robert Levi Ward III are engaged and planning to be married May 20, 1995 in Bedford, Va. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas M. Lam of Montvale, Va. She graduated from Liberty High School and Virginia Western Community College School of Nursing. She is employed by Lewis-Gale Hospital as a Registered Nurse. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Ward Jr. of Vinton, Va. He graduated from Staunton River High School and Roanoke College with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree. He is employed by Food Lion, Inc. as an Assistant Manager.

Patterson-Hairston

Mr. and Mrs. James Murphy and Mr. Bruce Patterson announce the engagement of their daughter, Paige Renee Patterson, to Anthony Wayne Hairston, the son of Melvin and Coretta Franklin. A June, 1995 wedding is planned.|

Pedigo-Fisher

Lisa Dawn Pedigo and James ""Randy"" Randolph Fisher are engaged and planning to be married February 25, 1995. Lisa is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Pedigo of Roanoke, Va. She graduated from Northside High School. She is the Office Manager for Gingers Jewelry. Randy is the son of Mrs. Wanda L. Henry of Roanoke, Va., and Mr. Frank R. Fisher of Boones Mill, Va. He graduated from Salem High School. He is the Systems Manager for ITT. Lisa and Randy will be married in Daleville, Va.

Sarver-Rexrode

Shirley and Curtis Sarver of Giles County wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Veronica Dawn, to Timothy Lynn Rexrode.

Timothy is the son of Helen and the late Herbert Rexrode of Bath County.

Veronica is a nurse at Roanoke Memorial Hospital, and Tim is the head cook for the Waterwheel Restaurant in Warm Springs.

The couple plans to reside in Warm Springs, and plan to wed this coming year.

Thomas-Jackson

Ms. Linda H. Thomas and George E. Thomas of Roanoke, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Stacy Leigh Thomas of Roanoke, to Paul Warren Jackson, son of Nancy and Dennis Jackson of Norfolk, Va.

The ceremony will take place April 22, 1995 at Saint Andrews Cathedral in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

Tollison-McMichael

Mr. and Mrs. Samuel H. Tollison of Riner, Virginia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Keene, to Shawn Christopher McMichael, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Pleasant McMichael, of Reidsville, North Carolina.

Julie is a Personal Banker and Branch Operations Manager at Wachovia Bank in Reidsville, North Carolina. She is a graduate of Christiansburg High School and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia. Chris attended Elon College in Elon, North Carolina, and is employed at Deep Springs Country Club in Madison, North Carolina, as a Golf Professional.

A June 24, 1995 wedding is planned.

Tollison-Melton

Mr. and Mrs. Samuel H. Tollison of Riner, Va., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Margaret to Samuel Hughes Melton, M.D., son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard I. Melton Jr., of Falls Church, Va.

Sarah is a Fellow in Psychiatric Pharmacotherapy, and Clinical Instructor at Virginia Commonwealth University, the Medical College of Virginia School of Pharmacy in Richmond, Va. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Medical College of Virginia School of Pharmacy.

Hughes is a resident in Family Medicine at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center. A graduate of Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Va., he received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine.

An April 23, 1995 wedding is planned.
