STUDY: HEART-PROTECTING ENZYME RISES IN EXECISERS

The heart-protecting enzyme TPA rises with exercise - a finding that may help to explain why execisers are less likely to have heart attacks, a study says.

Similarly, levels of a substance that renders the enzyme inactive are higher in nonexercisers, the study reports.
