Ammo plant honored for safety
RADFORD - The Radford Army Ammunition Plant recently reached its fourth safety goal of the year, receiving the Hercules Inc. Corporate Aerospace Division's President's Award.
The safety prize recognizes continuing safety achievements.
Employees will receive gift certificates to local businesses to commemorate the event.
RehabWorld changes name
BLACKSBURG - The former RehabWorld on South Main Street has changed its name to NovaCare Outpatient Rehabilitation.
The company now is affiliated with NovaCare Inc. the nation's largest provider of contract rehabilitation therapy, outpatient rehabilitation and orthotic and prosthetic patient care services.
