HANDBALL CLASSIC WILL BE HELD SATURDAY

The Brenner-Worrell Handball Classic, formerly the Worrell Handball Classic, will be held Saturday at Roanoke's Central YMCA.

The tournament, which was once named solely for Udell Brenner, a long-time area handball enthusiast, will now also be in honor of Dewitt "De" Worrell of Lexington, one of the victims of the Sept. 8 U.S. Air crash in Pennsylvania.

Worrell played handball regularly and had won many state tournaments.

The one-day, round robin tournament is expected to draw players from around the state as well as many from outside Virginia. Jim Larson of Alexandria and winner of last year's tournament will be among the competitors.

For information about entering or attending the tournament contact Dennis Wickes through the YMCA at 342-9622. The registration fee is $15.
