DANCERS TO PERFORM

Four young dancers from the New River Valley will perform this weekend with the Southwest Virginia Ballet Company. The dance company will present "The Snow Maiden" Saturday at 2 and 8 p.m. and again Sunday at 3 p.m. in Roanoke College's Olin Hall.

Michelle Lookadoo, 15, of Radford will perform with three Blacksburg dancers: Marji Rose, 16; Lana Beex, 14; and Desiree Reece, 15. The Southwest Virginia Ballet Company, founded four years ago by Terri Post, is a nonprofit organization for the study, performance and appreciation of dance.

Tickets for this weekend's performance of "The Snow Maiden" are on sale now at the Olin box office. They are $7.50 and $9.50. Call 375-2333.
