YOUNG SON RECALLED IN DONATION

Joe and Susan Walters of Roanoke made a donation to the Good Neighbors Fund on Friday in memory of their son Ralph, who was killed last year in an automobile accident on Virginia 311. Ralph, who was almost 5, was riding with his father to preschool.

In her letter with the contribution, Susan Walters wrote, "It comes also in honor of our attorney, P. Brent Brown, and his law firm, Carter, Brown & Osborne. During the trying time following Ralph's death, Mr. Brown and his partners have provided us with wise legal counsel, ever mindful of our loss.

"They have taken Ralph into their hearts and treated him with respect and love.

"Nothing could have meant more to us and we are truly grateful. Of the many good neighbors who exist in the professional community of the Roanoke Valley, these gentlemen are surely chief among them."
