CELEBRATIONS - BIRTHS

Brown birth

Michael Shane Brown was born November 22, 1994 at 10:08 a.m. in Community Hospital. He weighed 7 lbs. 11 oz., and was 20 inches long. His parents are Thomas Shane and Clara Beheler Brown. He has a brother, Jordan, 18 months. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Brown of Roanoke, Mr. and Mrs. Darius Turman of Salem, and Mr. Thomas C. Beheler of Petersburg. The attending physician was Dr. W. Robert Wisman. Michael is named for his much loved late great-uncle, Roy Michael Beamer. We thank God for our two precious sons!

\ Cline twins

Adam Thomas Cline and Emily Rae Cline were born October 14, 1994 in Community Hospital. Adam Thomas was born at 2:13 p.m. and weighed 5 lbs. 14 oz. and was 19 3/4 inches long. Emily Rae was born at 2:14 p.m. and weighed 5 lbs. 10 oz. and was 18 3/4 inches long. Their parents are Carl and Sharon Cline of Roanoke. Maternal grandparents are Fay T. Worrell of Pulaski and the late Elmon R. Worrell. Paternal grandparents are Vern and Frances Canfield of Lexington, and Carl and Shirley Cline of Staunton. Special thanks to Dr. Hardee, Dr. Keene and Dr. Agee. Also a very special thank you to all the staff at Valley OB/Gyn.

\ Coffey birth

Walker Alan Coffey was born November 1, 1994, at 5:50 p.m. at Lewis-Gale Hospital. He weighed 7 lbs. 9 ozs., and was 20 1/2 inches long. His parents are Jeffery and Jennifer Coffey. He has one sister, Samantha Coffey, age 7. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Terry M. Law of Rocky Mount; Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Walker Coffey of Eagle Rock. Great-grandparents are Mrs. Nannie Law of Rocky Mount; Mr. and Mrs. A.R. Coffey of Eagle Rock. The attending physician was Dr. Winn. The labor nurse was Susan Johnston. Thank you Dr. Winn for helping our son arrive safely. Thanks to Aunt Tricia for being there to welcome him into the world. And, thank God for our special treasure.

\ Drosdak birth

Adam David Drosdak was born November 12, 1994 at 2:15 p.m. at Community Hospital of Roanoke. He weighed 8 lbs. 2 3/4 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. Proud parents are Kelly and Lee Drosdak of Roanoke. He has a sister, Alyssa Danielle, age 4. Grandparents are Evelyn Flory of Keedysville, Maryland; Donald Flory of Delta, Pennsylvania; and Leo and Lorraine Drosdak of Sharpsburg, Maryland. Doctor Robert L. Agee was the attending physician. Special thanks to Doctors Hardee, Keene and Agee as well as their entire staff for their wonderful care, and also to Sherri, our labor and delivery nurse.

\ Duncan birth

Victoria Elizabeth Duncan was born July 23, 1994 at 3:35 p.m. in Community Hospital. She weighed 7 lbs. 9 oz. and was 20 inches long. Her parents are Michael and Stephanie Duncan. Her grandparents are Lloyd and Virginia Christianson of Callaway, Va., and William Duncan and Christine Morris of Roanoke, Va. The attending physician was Leigh Stockstill.

Special thanks to Lillian Lowe who helped dad coach, also to Dr. Leigh Stockstill and everyone at Community OB-GYN and hospital for their great care of mom and baby. Thank-you God for our beautiful baby girl!

\ Lindamood birth

Taylor Allen Lindamood was born September 22, 1994, at 5:18 p.m., at Community Hospital of Roanoke. He weighed 7 lbs. 4 1/4 ozs., and was 19 1/2 inches long. His parents are Bobby and Michelle Lindamood of Roanoke. His grandparents are Bob and Anita Lindamood of Roanoke; Harry and Nancy Karnes of Roanoke. Great grandparents are Merrill and Elizabeth Lindamood of Roanoke; Harold and Gerry Nofsinger of Collinsville. Taylor also has two aunts, Amy Lindamood and Cathy Karnes, both of Roanoke. The attending physician was Dr. David Stroud. Many thanks to the entire labor and delivery staff. Many praises to the Lord for blessing our family with a happy and healthy baby boy.

\ Maddox birth

Haley Morgan Maddox was born at 1:31 p.m. on November 30, 1994 in Community Hospital. She weighed 7 lbs. 1 3/4 ozs. and was 20 inches in length. Proud parents are Dwayne and Patricia Maddox of Roanoke. Grandparents are Richard and Virginia Maddox of Blue Ridge, Va. and Billy and Ann Southall of Boones Mill, Va. Great-grandparents are Catherine Maddox of Lynchburg, Va., Alton Workman of Cowen, W.Va., Bernice Wray of Boones Mill, Va. and Mae Southall of Boones Mill, Va. Dr. Steven Farber was the attending physician.

\ Oakes birth

Bryce Martin Oakes was born October 26, 1994 at 6:00 p.m. in Community Hospital. He weighed 9 lbs. 14 oz. and was 21 1/4 inches long. His parents are Terry and Rita Oakes. His grandparents are Raymond and Pearl Campbell and Rudy Mae Oakes. His great-grandmother is Emogine Campbell, all of Penhook. The attending physician was Dr. Jorge Garcia.

\ Stewart birth

James Peter Stewart was born on November 7, 1994 at 2:38 p.m. in Community Hospital of Roanoke Valley. He weighed 6 lbs. 13 ozs. and was 20 inches in length. His parents are Jimmy and Denise Stewart. Grandparents are Alyce and Jim Stewart of Roanoke, and Peter Vurnakes of Roanoke and Shirley Ehrhardt of Charlottesville. His great-grandparents are Helen Vurnakes and Ada McCown of Roanoke, and Dorothy Stewart of Lenior City, Tenn. Thanks to the entire staff of OB-GYN nurses at Community Hospital. A very special thank you to the attending physician, Dr. Lynn Keene, anesthesiologist, Dr. Stough; Dr. Hardee, Dr. Agee, and the entire staff at Valley OB/GYN for their special care.

\ Williams birth

Emily Renae Williams was born on November 6, 1994 at 4:02 p.m. in Community Hospital. She weighed 6 lbs.13 ozs. and was 19 1/4 inches in length. Emily's proud parents are David and Lisa Williams of Vinton. Grandparents are Betty and Zane Altis, Shirley Williams, Phillip and Elizabeth Williams.

A very special thank you to Dr. James Holman and his staff, and to Dr. L. Stockstill, Dr. Falls, Dr. K. Stockstill and their staff, for bringing so much joy and happiness to our lives. We also would like to thank Diane Edgarton and the nursery nurse who were so caring to us during labor and delivery.
